Ana Bruno is a graduate from the International Academy of Design and Technology (IADT) in Tampa Florida with a BFA in Computer Animation. She’s originally from Guinabo, Puerto Rico. During her early youth, she was exposed to the cultural folk art, music, dances, and crafts of Puerto Rico. Later on in her life her family moved to Orlando, Florida, where she was influenced by classical art, American comics, and traditional animation.

After graduating from Cypress Creek High School, she pursued an Associates Degree in Fine Arts at Valencia Community College. While attending school she got an opportunity to participate in student art exhibitions, and be a participant in the Orlando Rotary Street Painting Festival.

During this time period, Ana worked at Kaman’s Art Shops doing Caricature, Portraits, and Body art. Here she met great talents like Dino Casterline (a long time member of the National Charicaturist Network), Rose Casternline (feature in the American Artist Magazine), and many more. She soon developed a good eye for simplified caricatures, and speed.

After working at Kaman’s for 4 years she decided to move on with her career, and relocated to Tampa, where she enrolled at IADT. She was awarded Honorable mention in 2003 IADT Character Design Contest, and 2nd place in 2004, and 1st place in 2005. Since then, she's been featured in the St. Petersburg times, and has had the opportunity to work on several award winning projects and official selections such as "M", "Miami 85", and "Kuro Komo".
